Introducing Makito Miyashita

Hi! My name is Makito, the newest addition to the TREE team.

My father is Japanese and my mother is Australian. I grew up in Japan, and recently graduated from Moore Theological College, a Reformed-evangelical Anglican College in Sydney, Australia.

I am excited to be able to serve Japanese Christians by translating quality theological books into Japanese.

My hope is that by translating books I can serve people I may not even meet until we meet in heaven.

Of course, translation is not something I can do by myself - so I am asking for you to also play a part, both in prayer and finances. Think of it less as supporting me (although you very much will be!) but more so as you yourself contributing to the growth and maturing of your Japanese brothers and sisters in Christ, through me as I translate. Just as Paul collected gifts to take to the church in Jerusalem, I am collecting your gifts to give to the church in Japan.

In my next post, I hope to share a little bit about the book I will be working on.
